Updated Privacy Notice – GDPR

From 25th May 2018 a new European privacy law is due to take effect. The regulation, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) harmonises data protection laws in the EU that are fit for purpose in the digital age.

The GDPR imposes new rules on companies, that offer goods and services to people in the EU, or that collect and analyse data tied to EU residents.
The primary objective of the GDPR is to give citizens back control of their personal data and aims to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.

At Silver Birch (Scotland) Ltd we take the protection of any data we collect very seriously. Therefore we have been updating our policies and procedures to ensure we comply with the new laws ahead of the deadline.

If you would like a copy of our new privacy policy of if you have any further questions regarding the processing of personal data, then please contact our Data Protection Representative by clicking here.

On a more positive note, the team have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure this is the best ever Spring Open Weekend, ensuring all our plants and products are in tip top shape ready for the big weekend on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th May. As last year proved so popular, we are continuing the family theme, and will have lots of fun in store with a bouncy castle, raffle stalls and barbecue.*
